PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Omar Abuid is a founding partner of our firm and leads the criminal and regulatory litigation practice. He has specialised in complex criminal litigation, with a particular focus on economic matters. He developed part of his career at leading Chilean law firms, training alongside the renowned lawyer Claudio Feller, and between 2017 and 2022 served as a Public Criminal Defender, gaining extensive experience before Guarantee Courts, Oral Criminal Trial Courts, Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court. He has since acted as a legal consultant for companies, individuals and law firms, consolidating a broad and high-level perspective in criminal practice.

Recognised for his sobriety, precision and strategic strength in litigation, he has led the defence of highly complex and publicly significant cases, representing exposed individuals and organisations in critical proceedings. He is noted for his ability to anticipate procedural scenarios and resolve them successfully, as well as his skill in managing sensitive matters in both the public and private spheres.
